Accessibility Statement
FileMerger should be usable regardless of how you navigate the web. The entire merging workflow can be completed with the keyboard alone: files can be selected through a standard file input rather than only by dragging, column mapping controls are reachable in tab order, and the export button is a real button element. We use semantic HTML with proper heading structure, label every form control, and provide ARIA live regions so screen reader users hear when a merge completes rather than having to hunt for the result.
Conformance Target and Known Gaps
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Colour contrast in the interface meets the 4.5:1 ratio for body text, and no information is conveyed by colour alone. We know of remaining gaps: the drag-and-drop zone has a keyboard equivalent but announces its state less clearly than it should, and very wide preview tables require horizontal scrolling that is awkward at high zoom levels. Both are on the list to fix. If you hit an accessibility barrier, email jackke88+filemerger@gmail.com with a description of the problem and the assistive technology you use, and we will prioritise it and offer a workaround in the meantime.
